Default Settlement Margin Asset - USDC

Final settlements for trades involving stablecoins against USD are financially executed using USDC as the underlying settlement margin asset. This fiat-backed stablecoin is chosen for its extensive liquidity and widespread availability for off-ramp redemptions through institutions, OTC desks, and market makers. Such accessibility ensures that USDC maintains a pegged value relative to USD, facilitated by rebalancing arbitrage incentives inherent in the ULP design. Consequently, profits settled in USD value are processed via USDC at a 1:1 ratio.
